Neglected

This must have been a fine village house at one time, but now it stands empty as the cars slow down for a traffic calming measure. Iron railings and a rather grand iron porch are clues to its former life.
I see this house often, in the next village to ours, as it is not far from our nearest shop, and wonder if anybody will buy it, sell it, restore it ?
Meanwhile, its greyness reflects the misty, damp April afternoon.
