Snow Drop Woods

We headed off after breakfast for a six mile tramp around the countryside. It’s very lovely around here. These amazing snowdrops were in the grounds of Kentwell Hall, a fine Tudor mansion just a few steps from the hotel. We ate lunch outside for the first time this year, an excellent truffled macaroni at the Hare Inn though it was a bit windy and flaming freezing. The main reason apart from Covid avoidance was because our feet were too muddy to go in. I was sent in for beer in my stockings soles!
