It only took two and a half years…

We went out to Bromsgrove this morning to test drive a new car. The jury’s out as to whether to proceed: I liked the car but not sure about the financial hit I’d take!

Whilst we were out I suggested to Mr SHS that we go over to look at a furniture store we’ve been to before , to see if we could find a coffee table we both agreed on to finish off the lounge. We’ve lived in the house for 2.5 years but only last year decided to remove the tv and make it a “sitting” room only so needed a coffee table. When my crochet group come round it’s been awkward!

We’ve been batting designs back and forwards for months; but couldn’t find one we both liked. The floor is dark wood, we’ve got a lighter cabinet and wooden legs on sofas so the shade of wood was always tricky.
It therefore was serendipity to find this one (+ matching side table) that we both agreed on. And it fitted in my current car :) We’ve gone for concrete of course.
