Highway 1
A breezy day but I still managed a sail out in the cat. And a walk along the beach to the supermarket at Fitts Village. Started reading The Ten Percent by Simon McLean; a bit old school in places but it does seem like the unvarnished truth about policing. Unvarnished - that’s the word. Though as he wrote it himself he may well have supplied several coats. I did like the anecdote about the public lavatory attendant who was quizzed about unseemly goings on within his portals. Suggesting that was pretty much the norm, he told them that if a punter actually came in for a dump it was like a breath of fresh air. I laughed aloud at that. How the SK wasn’t equalled amused I have no idea. Breeding?
