A grand day out!

We left home at 8:00am this morning to visit the family in Manchester.  The last time we were there was two years ago, almost to the day, before the pandemic.  Our two great nieces Alicia and Grace (seen here with yours truly) had grown so much!  Ivy was so good in the car, not a peep out of her, and she enjoyed meeting the girls, as well as their little border terrier Laika.

It was lovely to catch up with everyone again and the drive up and back went pretty smoothly.  It's now 7:30pm so quite a long day all in all!
