Bottle top mural
In Carrick-on-Shannon for a bit of traditional music tonight, Seamus Maguire playing viola with Niamh Varian-Barry and Gerry O'Beirne on a guitar --- traditional music on a viola sounds different!
Went for a walk around Carrick this afternoon and came across this "mural", made of plastic bottle tops, on a wall beside the bridge over the Shannon,. A creative representation of the bridge itself and a great use for old bottle tops!.
The extra is a juvenille swan on the river, taken from a wooden walkway looking downwards. The water is almost black making the swan stand out, even though it still has some juvenille feathers.
