Blue eyed boy

Theo is 12. I have a photo of Theo as a baby with intensely blue eyes.

Theo and I are cousins, technically something along the lines of 3 times removed. I'm not sure how it works but we're family. Theo kindly gave me permission to post this.

A visit from whanau (family) on an unseasonably cold and wet day, was a highlight. We ventured to a local cafe where they introduced me to famous kumara chips (as in famous at this particular cafe).

There's 96mm of rain accumulated in my rain gauge since Friday night. 93mm of that has fallen in the past 26 hours.
