The Lovecats

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Caro left the spare bedroom window open a crack the other day. When she returned about 30 minutes later, she found two little cats had let themselves in and tucked themselves up on the spare bed. 

Yes, Dave and Dr. Girlfriend (or DG or Digi as we now call her) had decided that the garage is no longer good enough and they would like to make themselves at home in the guest bedroom. 

It is terribly cute. Here they are all snuggled up together on a pouffe in the living room. 

In a way, they remind me of Caro and me. Today we had a very quiet day on the couch, watching Righteous Gemstones, Resident Alien and Peacemaker (around various reality tv shows). We relaxed and caught our breath a bit after a breathless week. 

And occasionally we bumped into each other on the way to the kitchen, and we exchanged hugs. I like hugging Caro. She seems to like it too. We didn't talk a whole lot, but it was just nice having each other there. 

And every now and then we look over and there's a sleepy, snoring cat. And we find them comforting company too. 

We are all just sleepy cats together.
