Bulbocodes (for TonyG)

Went for a delightful walk above The village of La Fully this morning, to see this very first of the special alpine flowers, Colchicum bulbocodium, the spring meadow saffron.  As all the species of the genus Colchicum, the species is a poisonous plant, difficult to believe, it looks so innocent!


David is in Rome to watch the rugby, Italy v England and I am watching it on TV, haven’t seen him yet.
