Persisting down

Not a day for walking anywhere so it was back to the table for a few more pieces of jigsaw. This pic, a Christmas present for MrsDB is a view of Keswick market place. An interesting local coach, a Bedford with a Duple body and a local Morris Minor Traveller pass a host of long gone retailers. The Moot Hall is just visible. The downstairs of the building was open to shelter in in the 60’s. It was also the place where I had my first and only brush with the law. The local policeman caught me riding an abandoned push bike round and round inside and dragged me down to the police station. It was his bike.
