Not-So-Sunny Weymouth

We’ve come down to Weymouth on the Dorset Coast for a couple of days as a pre-birthday break.  It has been tipping down with rain all day and blowing a hoolie but these kite surfers were bravely making the most of it despite the high waves. A split second after I took this photo, the surfer was lifted about 30 feet or more in the air and flew for several seconds before landing perfectly and surfing on. Most impressive.

We were being blown to the cafe, the white building partially in shot on the left, for fish finger sandwiches and shelter.

Late afternoon we ventured to the local cinema to see Kenneth Branagh’s “Belfast”. Brilliant!
