Puppies!

The first Arnside market of the year went well, though maybe not quite as busy as we were expecting.
After that I set off to visit my friend and her new litter of puppies.
They are six weeks now and very boisterous when awake, but fortunately sleeping for several hours in between. Jane was looking tired after minding them for so long, and Daisy was in the process of weaning her pups and very glad of some time out having walkies and some adult company! Three of them have been sold so far, with another one due to be chosen on Sunday. Then they will be off to their new homes from the end of the month and things will begin to return to normal, although I think Jane is going to keep one … well who could resist!
