Comfort Food

The BBC weather forecasters were right: it's been blustery all day with rain starting on cue at 11am, and not ceasing until  after dark. 
So, there was no excuse for not doing a lot of housework. 
My reward at lunchtime was a treat my Finnish friend introduced me to, 45 years ago. It is  buttered  toast (today, using Sainsbury's artisan  rye, sourdough and buckwheat boule !) with lots of local honey and (not so  locally produced) sliced banana, plus large mug of white tea. It certainly  gave me the lift  I needed  to continue with my sorting and clearing until  this evening.
