Hellebore

Finally this one is in flower.  I bought three little seedlings at our village plant sale last spring and it has flowered.. gorgeous deep red. I am thrilled. There is another one flowering too.. very pretty but not as special as this one I think. 
We had a lovely day today.  Some good friends joined us for a late lunch and the England-Italy rugby match.  The first half promised much but the second half was a bit of a drag.  England got a high score.. poor Italy.. 99 consecutive losses.. they deserve points for tenacity if nothing else.
Pottery throwdown was good again and then we watched a delightful film called Lunchbox.. loved it.
