In Remembrance.....

It was a cold morning outside, but inside FBC Pflugerville, the spirits of all the church family were warmed by  lifting our voices in songs of worship and praise, followed by a marvelous rendition of "He Will Carry You" by the choir and orchestra.  During the sermon, Pastor Wes took us back into Philippians 3:1-11 to finish what we started last week, encouraging us to make knowing Jesus the aim of our lives.  We can begin to do this by knowing the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, by being conformed to His death and attaining the resurrection from the dead,  If you'd like to know more about how we are to accomplish these things, you can listen to the message online which is well worth your time.  At the end of the service, we observed the Lord's Supper or Communion to remind us of the price Jesus paid for our sin so that we could spend eternity with Him.....
