SoCal SuperBowl Pool

The SuperBowl Pool is a weird gambling animal. You find yourself rooting for teams you don’t like just to win the pool. I’ve never picked a square, but a secretary from a company I deal with picks a square or 2 for me and tells me what I owe them. The first time they did this was 1998. I had to have someone tell me how the pool worked, and, as it turned out, I won $1000. that first year on a $25. wager. I’ve won 3 times since then, but alas, this year it was not to be. We were still delighted that our local team, The LA Rams won the SuperBowl.
