Oscar and his buddy

I am so proud of all the buddies Oscar and Bailee have made. They seem to be friend magnets. It amuses me a little as Stu and I were definitely more on the nerdy side in school! Oscar enjoys throwing stones in the pond downstairs- "Just one at a time Oscar and slowly!" He actually has a good throw and aim (But not as good as Bailee's). Bailee has a superb ball kick too.

I am beginning to notice that both Bailee and Oscar are playing more with same sex friends.... Bailee has made a couple of girl friends at school and Oscar is much more interested in what the boys are doing at the park (Stone throwing, running in bushes, climbing etc). Bailee is beginning to like girly things (Like the Polly Pocket she got in a party bag!). We have always veered towards gender neutral toys having had boy/girl twins so it interests me to see how their personalities develop.

They had a fab time at nursery today and made flower pot plants and the most gorgeous sparkly dried pasta necklaces. Getting them all ready and organised was manic this morning.... I am currently devising strategies to make this run smoother....

Poor Maple has her first temperature this evening. Fingers crossed she sleeps well tonight.
