Back in Paradise

I was actually trying to capture the enormous Monarch butterfly that greeted me as I crossed the high bridge to the supermarket. Too fast. Too elusive, but promise of things to come.

Then I noticed that there are bananas actually growing in the hotel garden. And fabulous flowers, of course. (Extra)

Birmingham airport was crazily busy. The plane was delayed. We arrived in thick cloud and rain. But I’m so excited to be back. More adventures to come.
