In the woods

Generally Cosmo does not take me out on a Monday. Today was an exception as her normal walking companion was not available.

It was a cloudy morning when we set off with a steady damp drizzle. On going outside Cosmo stopped in the doorway to check on the weather. She was not impressed. I told her to move so she did get out of the way sufficiently to allow me out of the house.

We headed to the woods as usual, but then Cosmo decided it was too wet and indicated that we should go home. I thought we were in for a lengthy discussion on the matter, but luckily a couple of dogs arrived and said hello.

After this distraction we were able to continue. As the rain stopped at this point we proceeded without further protest and she enjoyed the rest of the walk. She was a rather muddy dog when she got home.
