Pottage

A new purchase, from the brother of a friend of ours. It’s laburnum and it is absolutely gorgeous. It’s not “for” anything. It’s just a thing, a beautiful thing.

It was a day that started quite brightly and gradually deteriorated as time went on. Not the weather, which was fine, but other stuff was a bit dispiriting. I cheered myself up this evening by buying flight tickets for Mr A for a wee getaway in late May/early June when he will be accompanying me. Here’s hoping that Covid doesn’t get in the way….
