Views from Monte Lema

In the winter months, the lift to the summit of Monte Lema does not run, which makes it a good choice of summit to avoid the crowds. I saw two large groups of walkers when I was nearing the top of the mountain, but I managed to avoid running into them. Although it wasn't my intention to walk up to the ridge, a sequence of events meant that my starting point changed and I decided to head upwards and see where I got to. There were many moments of shall I/shan't I, but it was for sure the right decision when I got to the top and looked across at this view, the view North towards the central alpine chain.
