All you can eat Sushi
This is not the image I thought I would Blip today.
I knew it would be a tough one because the day started at 5am and we would only be leaving school at 7pm. It was parent evening and my poor children had to stay with me at school until it ended.
On the way to school we drove behind an abnormal load. On closer inspection we realised it was a large aeroplane on the way to a scrapyard. I would have loved to use it for my Blip but there was no way to stop safely and take the photo. The roads on that section are too narrow!
My school day went past in a minute, I didn't even stop to eat anything. At 1:30 when the children left I felt so faint that I had to sit down and eat my lunch. Then it was a sports meeting before my parents started to arrive. It was only as we were driving back home that I realised I had nothing to Blip!
My parents were all delightful to chat with except for one who is far to critical and has unrealistic expectations of her child and the school. I left feeling positive about my first term as a grade 1 teacher and enthusiastic for next term. It is a good feeling to have at the end of the term when my energy is getting low!
Any way back to today's Blip. Mr G treated four very sleepy, hungry people to a sushi buffet. A real treat!
If anyone is interested, this is Yamada Sushi on Rivonia Rd.
