A line

Volunteers on our local heritage railway line have been very busy. On our walk this afternoon the embankment has been completely cleared of shrubs.

We have watched, with dismay, on tv news, similar clearing to enable tanks to manoeuvre in Eastern Europe. A worrying time for us all.

As a diversion it was lovely to welcome A to our house this afternoon. Bit by bit a more normal social life resumes.
