Autumn leaves.

The trees are beautiful at the moment. All the leaves turning red and yellow and beginning to float off the trees. Bordeaux looks lovely.

I'm not really sure what these grills are for, they're at the foot of a lot of trees here. I imagine they're for collecting the fallen leaves, to recycle them into compost for the same tree, but I could be completely wrong. If anyone knows (and happens to come across this 6-month-backblipped photo in the archives!) I'd be very interested to find out!
