knit the time away

Still knitting away, trying to get a square done every few days. The 4 in the pile on the lef,t are the ones I did over the weekend.

I sowed all my odd bits together, which is what you can see in the background.

The pattern i'm working on at the moment is called Trellis cable and its quite tricky. Love the effect though, so i'll have to put it into a project in the future.

Has anyone been watching The Village? It's a 41 episode series that tells the story of a 100 year old man looking over his life. It starts when he's twelve and War has just broken out. We've just caught up on the first two episodes last night and even though its a little grim, i'm quite hooked. The acting is superb but the scenes are a little jumpy.
