Strong Bridge

This small bridge over the Top Lock section of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal leading down into Wigan takes HGV’s into an industrial estate. It looks alarmingly small for such huge vehicles, which the builders couldn’t possibly have imagined back in the C19th.
I found it amusing that this was a training vehicle and wondered what the poor driver was thinking!!!!
