Long day today.
Took J's nieces to the park and then bowling much to their delight. We weren't meant to be down so an unexpected visit by the favourite aunt is always fun.

Left there to go and see L at the hospital. Met her Mum for the first time as she had just arrived from Australia the day before.

She seemed in good spirits all things considered and we were one of many visitors she had during the afternoon. In addition her hospital window overlooked the helicopter pad. The air ambulance had just arrived when we did but I missed it taking off. I also missed the yellow Wessex helicopter arriving in the field at the back.

Managed to persuade everyone to leave to allow us to go through the paperwork we needed to complete before she went for her op on Monday.

Left L alone and went back to Vic and Vic's house. I had forgotten they had moved. Great house they are in now and their daughter Vi seemed to be enjoying herself.

Vic had cooked lamb chops and some stuff, which turned out to be breadcrumbs with sultanas and anchovies. Very nice indeed.
Spent the night catching up and going over what is likely to happen on Monday. Not the best day in the world but it was nice to see friends again
