At the Weir

Another day on holiday and another day touring round on my bike getting jobs done.
  So firstly off to Blackhall to visit my sister, then gardening and lunch at Saughton Park, then taking something back to Asda and lastly a visit to our own allotment.  I must say the allotment was looking great and I enjoyed getting some pruning done.
I even had time to photograph this Heron at the weir in Saughton park which is part of a mini-hydro electric scheme which generates all the electricity needed in the park.  The Waters of Leith was flowing pretty fast as you can see.
Have cooked a good mexican meal and am off to running club now.
