Female Goosander

The White Cart, which flows through Pollok Park always looks a bit muddy after high winds and heavy rainfall. This Goosander was really struggling as she paddled as hard as she could against the current.

Following our usual route Poppy and I headed to the rather formal garden with its regular paths and flowerbeds awaiting some new planting. For the first time that I can recall the gates were closed and padlocked so no wee wander in there today.
