Willow haymaker

It's been raining all day today so I have returned to Saturday's excursion to Runnymede and this figure, made of willow, depicting haymaking. This makes me think of warmer, sunnier days. It is part of a group of figures created by volunteers working with artists in residence, Willow Twisters, representing pre-industrialised Runnymede when only hand tools and sunshine were needed to make hay.
