RIP Maggie

I'd already blipped yesterday when the news hit about Maggie, but I was really shocked and quite upset about some of the negative comments made about her.

I realise that everyone's experiences were different and she was involved in some less favourable things. But, she did a lot and given how long she served us it was ineveitable she wouldn't please all of the people all of the time. That was the path she chose and she stuck to her principles, which is rare for any polititian.

What ever she meant to you, she shaped the way we live today. If you think back to those early times it was an impressive thing to do. Today it's acceptible for a woman to speak out, back then it was unheard of.
