Appearances are deceptive

This blip was taken at lunchtime today when I called in at our local Bowling Club to register to take part in the Seasonal Opening Day on 20th April.
Looks very inviting but the temperature was not far above freezing taking into account the wind chill factor, and the forecast for the rest of April is not encouraging so I expect members are going to delay decision to participate until the last minute.
I am now down to play - hail, rain or shine! So on my own head be it and I assure you I'll be happy - perhaps the only happy one on The Green; but then I'm a wee bit contrary on most occasions!
