FEATHERS

It's Tiny Tuesday.....and these are feathers off of a wild bronzed turkey. Amazing birds, turkeys. When turkeys are on watch nothing goes unnoticed.

I think you can see how the bronzed turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) got its name. Much different than domesticated, raised for food turkeys. These are slim built racing machines.

While they do fly, especially at night to roost in trees out of harm's way, they prefer to walk/run on the ground. I dare any of you to try to out-run one. There's not a human alive who even comes close to doing that.
