I got a call this morning that my taxes were finished so Mae and I drove over to pick them up. I said as long as we were out and about we should stop for lunch & asked where she'd like to go. I shouldn't have phrased it like that as she immediately answered McDonalds; not my favorite place, and my daughter rarely stops there, but since I asked and she answered, that's where we went. Afterward we worked on homework because she'll be back at school tomorrow. :)
