Plant Sitting - Day 2

It started to snow again this afternoon so any outdoors activities with the plant were out of the question. Then I remembered Jon's great idea: To rent a movie for the plant to watch, perhaps "Day of the Triffids"?

But since it's a delicate plant and we always find the books better than movies based on their stories, we decided it would be better to arrange for a reading of this excellent science fiction story. It's a classic and of course one of the books in my husband's vast collection. Kári, the English-speaking expert in the family, was kind enough to read the first chapters.

I hope it doesn't get it into its head to start walking around the house, trying to trap innocent humans and devour them... ?!!
