Obelisk

I used to live opposite this obelisk.  For the life of me I can't remember the name of it.  That's a little worrying.  Forgetting names.

Now I'm wondering if obelisk is the right word.  That's a bit worrying too - losing meanings.  

Google would know the answer to both.  But I can't be bothered checking.
