Waiting for a treat

The Black Collared Barbet visited this morning, demanding food - he taps on the window - and with that thick beak it's a loud tap!. I like this photo with his mate in the background. A couple of weeks ago they visited with two youngsters which was special.
I  put food for them on the window sill, and then keep watch for the monkeys!
We had lovely rain through the night after our storm, and the rain tanks are full. It's a wonderful feeling to switch over to using rain water in the house instead of municipal water. Our dams levels are dropping again - down to 17,5% so hopefully there will be some run off from the rain.
