Quiet before...

Storm Dudley arrives.  The weather this morning was very grey.  You couldn't see Scotland  from Maryport.  This is Maryport pier and on the other side of it is the entrance to the harbour.  Although calmer in the harbour it was more choppy than I had seen before.  This side of the pier receives the full force of waves and wind.  As I write this the sun is out but the wind is still blowing hard.  Dudley is supposed to be here by 4pm with warnings lasting until midnight.  I hope you remain safe and have electricity.  Take care.
