Nanny McPhee, Nursey and sawing!

Ruby is such a character, and likes being a character. Today she wanted to be Nanny McPhee so she came to our house wearing a black dress. Marlane kitted her out with a wart (which disappears when she achieves progress with the naughty children), one of Betty's walking sticks (she never uses them but likes to keep them as they were her husbands) and I found a black hat for her in the garage. 
Then the carer arrived to see to Betty. They've been coming for the past 3 or 4 weeks, it really gives us a break from the not so great parts of looking after her!
Ruby immediately endeared herself to the carer by going up to her and giving her a hug. When she was going Ruby wanted to be a Nurse, which is what she thought she was, so she got Ruby an apron, gloves and a mask from her car before she went off. 
Ruby said she was going to look after GG (Great Granny), gives us a break then HAHAHAHAHAHA
The other job, this afternoon, was to cut the top off the remaining bit of the Mayflower/Hawthorn tree. The bark of the logs will be burned and will join the other burnt logs, against the wall as the new ones are taller.
