This weeks W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme is 'a local place' so this afternoon I went for a walk to the local castle in our village of Goodrich, Ross on Wye (Herefordshire) to take a photograph of it as the village is named after the person who had the first castle built - Godric Mappeson (1101AD)!
