River rapids

Wednesday
An early morning walk from school brae to Cramond foreshore. The weather was dry and calm, but storm Dudley was due to arrive later. The Almond was high and fierce, and the ducks were keeping to the river banks. The tide was well out at Cramond and we could see a few brave people walking over to the island.
Over to a neighbour's for coffee later in the morning. The rain had started by then.
Working on new quilt project in the afternoon. Heavy rain showers and wild wind blowing outside.
