Fantastic Day

Amy back to Uni for the last term of her first year starting tomorrow. She is going back early to do a 'widening access' course for some students doing A levels in state schools. We trekked down to Cardiff ( an hour away) to look for a dress suitable for a summer ball. On the drive down we listened to music from some of our favourite gigs over the past few years. Destroya-My Chemical Romance, Red Flag- Billy Talent, Misery Business - Paramore mixed in with some Green Day. The music made us lucky. SHe loved the first dress she tried on and we spent the next few hours looking for suitable (unsuitable!) shoes , make up and other girly things. I ended up collapsed over a latte while they went off looking for other clothes.
By the time we got back to Hay at 8pm there was home made toad in the hole with mashed potato waiting for us. Mr Julesey's preferred option to be chef rather than shopper.
