Lytham estuary

After a horrid 4 hour journey to get to Lytham (should have only taken 1.5 hours!) we arrived at our lovely B&B (courtesy of Joe's parents) and swiftly went out to de-stress and enjoy some fresh coastal air on a gloriously sunny day.

This photo is of Joe and his mum at the northern bank of the estuary where the mudflats are exposed at low tide. The only tourists who visit this beach are those who arrive in sailing dinghies!
