the rain having a pause around midday, taking the opportunity to have a cycle around a different part of town, one of those pointless excursions where the definition is set at the start, today forgoing the traffic light game in favour of a choice of three blips... of course it never works out, returning with a single burst of photo's but none the worse for the exercise and glad for that single occurrence, another glimpse of that more homely taipei which seems to coexist with the concrete and steel of the changing skyline and the scurrying crowds which inhabit it...
