Abstract Thursday...Monochrome

Straight from my phone camera for today's challenge.. beautiful bark with it's own natural abstract patterns...thanks Ingeborg.
Took the bus late morning for some essential provisions, a biting wind but sunny. Just got back when heavy rain started again. It was so rough last night I decided against going to the W.I. 
Another Skype call with G who is unable to obtain a long term visa and is temporarily leaving Vietnam. He plans to visit India, a place he loves....he needs a break so fate has played it's part ....
