Meet Desmond

Not Storm Desmond but Archbishop Desmond Tutu. This version of him lives with our friends B and D who kindly invited us for lunch. So very lovely to catch up.
Not much else done today, I’m processing the sad news that my brother Dave has finished his course of chemotherapy but the tumour is now growing not shrinking. I’m finding the hardest thing is being the other side of the world and knowing that I’m not going to be able to see him.
Tomorrow I have to be out in Storm Eunice. Wish me luck.
