Our snowdrops and the poppy

I noticed the snowdrops in our front garden have all now flowered. I like these because of the pretty green edges to their petals.

The light green leaves at the rear belong to the lovely large poppy which will flower in a month or so. The leaves had accidentally been covered over by a large stone which was keeping down the plastic cover, which in turn was trying to stop the weeds coming through. You can't win.

I've been keeping indoors quite a lot still feeling rather subdued following our bouts of Covid. Helena is feeling quite poorly so she has retired to bed for much of the last day or so. I hope she feels better soon.
