Abstract Thursday: "Monochrome"

Having shamefully skipped last week's Abstract Thursday theme - ""Colourful" - with the lame excuse that I'm on the Mono Month Challenge, today's theme pretty much gave me a free hand!

This one of scenes I shoot most often, with the winding track up to the remains of my favourite dead tree. I set a slow shutter speed, spun the camera during the exposure, then thresholded the image to make it pure black and white.
