Walk..

..by the river in glorious sunshine and a far too warm afternoon, 2 days after the snow!
I introduced my sister to my riverwalk. The river behaved, and actually showed its best sides, despite the fact that there is way too little water in it. I was a little hesitant, as when you suggest your favourite book or film to a friend, or introduce a partner to the family, but it all went really well. Birds were singing, crocuses, primulas and hellbores flowering through the bed of leaves in the woods and for the first time there was a swan on the river. Just one, a young one looking for a mate. It was perfect!
