Shoveler - 30

I gave myself a bit more time at Burton before starting my shift and saw my first ruff and Cetti's warbler of the year. The Cetti's are very vocal but notoriously difficult to spot so I was pleased to get a good view of one preening itself today. Unfortunately it was in the reeds so I couldn't get a clear focus so I went for the shoveler instead.

With the high winds forecast a decision has already been made that the reserve will be closed tomorrow.
